John Patrick Landscape Architects Pty Ltd was formed in 1982. The Principal, John Patrick has managed the firm since its inception.
The practice is based in Melbourne and serves a range of clients locally, inter-state and internationally.
The practice has carried out a broad range of commissions encompassing both small and large scale projects for private, corporate and government clients.

John Patrick Landscape Architects Pty Ltd has dedicated itself to a vision that guides all aspects of work in the practice.
To give affect to this vision principles of practice have been formulated to which each member of John Patrick Landscape Architects Pty Ltd is committed.

The principles of practice are:
·To carry out projects on a consultative basis by working with the client to ensure client views and aspirations are central to the development of each project.

·To provide a high standard of professional service and ensure excellence through every phase of each project from inception, design, documentation, construction and client hand-over.

· To respond with sensitivity to site conditions and create a sense of place which is appropriate to the specific features and context of the site.

· To undertake responsible environmental design which promotes the sustainable use of resources particularly in relation to construction methods, choice of materials, efficient water management and long term maintenance.

· To respect the cultural context of landscape by providing for the expression of community values and characteristic and for the conservation of landscape heritage features.
