Vertical farming comes with a long list of benefits and they're beyond the typical "zero sunlight and soil".
These include the removal of "seasonal" crops, considering the facilities in these farms control all environmental factors, they are capable of producing traditionally seasonal fruit, all year round.
Vertical farms are weatherproof, since the crops are safe in a highly controlled environment. The produce won't be affected by weather events whether it be drought or flood. ?
And of course, vertical farms can grow produce at least three times as fast, this food production system also requires far less water (95% less), less resources, and less space than traditional methods.
