Essence of Ayurvedic diagnosis and treatment is the dosha analysis or body type analysis. This Ayurvedic body type theory states that every human being is a mix of these three states or humours. Imbalances within these doshas are the key to illnesses. While one can oversimply ayurvedic treatments as balancing the doshas by ayurvedic medicines, treatments and dosha based ayurvedic diets, in reality it is much more complicated than that.
